Manufacturing is “cool again” 

Since January BAMA has done some exciting things!

  • We’ve added a nice number of new members!
  • We’ve hosted a press conference on our new “STEM goes to work” program where kids and adults tour manufacturing plants and hear and see why Manufacturing is a great place to work and make a good living!   (as my 17 year old said, this is cool after seeing were I worked)!  To learn how your firm can host a tour of kids call me at 813.786.1125. 
  • In February both Hillsborough and Pinellis County Commissioners declared the week of Feb 12 to 18 “Stem and Robotic Education Week”.
  • Our Aerospace committee has had AM tours of Aerospace company’s, thanks to PIE and Aerosonics (a new member!).

We are growing and the only thing missing is you!  So come to a meeting and let me introduce you around.  We are growing and we want to grow with you!
