What the changes in global demographics mean for you, your work environment, and your suppliers. Not just development of diverse suppliers, Irene will present changes in demographics and their impact on the workplace, communications, and how you might look at suppliers differently. Irene is a frequent speaker on negotiations and contracting, supplier management, leadership, diversity, career development, and future trends at various venues, most recently at the International Financial Institutions (IFI) Procurement Forum, the Virginia State Government Procurement Forum, and the Florida Electric Cooperatives Association 2014 Finance and Accounting Conference.
Irene is a past-president of ISM-Northern Virginia. She has been active in ISM in NJ, Philadelphia, and National Capital Area affiliates, including board positions. Irene is presently also on the Board of the ISM Risk Management sub-group. Irene is a trainer for ISM's CPSM certification. She holds a Masters in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from Penn State and is certified as a Certified Transportation and Logistics (CTL) from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics (ASTL), and Certified Professional in Contract Management (CPCM) from the National Contract Management Associations (NCMA).
Irene's experience includes several Fortune 100 companies including AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent Technologies, Wyeth (now Pfizer) Pharmaceuticals, and AmerisourceBergen. She is presently a Sr. Director at National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) responsible for supplier sourcing and contract administration.
