APICS Tampa Bay invites area operations management, supply chain and logistics professionals to  our first Professional Development Meeting of the APICS 2013-2014 year on September 10, 2013. The meeting will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at Bascoms Chop House, 3665 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater FL 33762. This will be a joint meeting with the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA).

Our speaker is Donna Harak, President of Harak Associates, a local consulting firm that manages the application and reimbursement process for state and local incentive programs available to local businesses including:

      -Training Grant Programs

       -•Workforce Programs

      -•Tax Refund Programs

Ms. Harak will be speaking on the topic of "Funding Manufacturing Training".  During this presentation you will learn about State of Florida and Regional Workforce Board training grants that reimburse manufacturing training such as:

     -Incumbent Worker Training (IWT)

      -Quick Response Training (QRT)

        -Employed Worker Training (EWT)
