    JOB SUMMARY:
    Position involves setup and operation of stamping presses and support equipment to company’s quality and performance standards, while maintaining high levels of safety and workplace organization as it applies to this position.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Setup Dies and Presses while supporting all equipment safely and correctly.
    • Run presses to produce products at specified quantity level.
    • Collaborate with toolmakers and machinist to resolve die issues
    • Perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Recognize visual defects in finished goods and conduct visual quality inspections and follow first piece inspection procedures for parts

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly. Install machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Develop specifications from general description and draw sketch or part or product to be fabricated. Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

    Responsible for all activities associated with assisting in running the flexo including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques
    • Inspect all dies before and after run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run
    • Ensure all bolts for cutting dies are in place and tightly secured
    • Maximize the utilization of the equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity
    • Monitor box quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print
    • Ability to read a tape measure
    • Check anilox rolls for damage

    Our team continues to grow! We are looking for both 1st and 2nd shift CNC Machinists to fulfill the needs of our company's rapid growth.

    The CNC Machinist provides support to the organization's production department under the direction of the Leadman & Managing Partner by producing precision machined parts and products by programming (G code knowledge required), setting up and operating a CNC machining center in accordance to specifications and project requirements.

    • Plans machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.

    • Maintains cleanliness of machine and machining area daily. Performs regular inspection of assigned machine and completes weekly maintenance checks.
    • Reports defective or inadequate tooling and machine problems to supervisor.
    • Works in compliance with the provisions of OSHA and the company health and safety guidelines.
