Many manufacturers overlook a tax incentive for research and development (R&D) activities because the tax law is so complicated. Others assume they are not large enough to qualify or simply do not view the activities they do as R&D activities.
Join us to learn how companies in a variety of industries are losing out on significant tax advantages without even knowing they are eligible.
We will also discuss the 2010 tax year and how it has been the most beneficial thus far for business entities with R&D expenses. The rules were adjusted favorably in 2010, and consequently the tax benefits derived by business owners for that particular year are greater. There is still time to prepare a 2010 R&D study but the statute for 2010 will expire soon!
We will also touch upon the following tax credits:
~ Cost Segregation, Domestic Production Activities Deduction (DPAD), Work Opportunity Tax Credits
~ (WOTC) and Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings Deduction.
