MAJOR GENERAL JAMES O. EIFERT
Maj. Gen. James O. Eifert is assigned as The Adjutant General, Florida. As The AdjutantGeneral, he is the senior military advisor tothe Governor, responsible for the overallmanagement, readiness, and mobilization ofboth U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force elementsof the Florida National Guard. General Eifert received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in June1982 and graduated from the United States Air Force Fighter Weapons School in
December 1992. He has commanded at thesquadron, group, wing and state levels and has led multiple F-15 combat deployments.General Eifert served as chairman on boththe Air Dominance Weapons Systems Council and the National Strategic Planning System Force Structure Committee. He previously served as the Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander, Pacific AirForces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
