About Dixie Belle Paint:
Suzanne Fulford is the founder and CEO of Dixie Belle Paint Company, which was started in 2013, and officially incorporated in January 2014.
Dixie Belle Paint Company was created when Suzanne found the wonderful world of Chalk Paint and DIY projects in 2013. Quickly seeing an opportunity in the market for an affordable, quality chalk paint, as well as the potential to fill that gap, she began her journey by developing an affordable, high quality chalk-mineral paint, and earned the term of endearment as the “mad scientist” by her peers and employees. After starting with a mere 16 colors, some mason jars, and a desire to succeed, Dixie Belle Paint Company was born. One of her primary goals was to provide a product that was easy and fun to use, and most importantly affordable.
Dixie Belle Paint Company took off quickly experiencing exponential growth, due to extraordinary quality products and pricing, along with Suzanne’s marketing and customer acquisition skills. By 2016 Dixie Belle Paint Company had 15 employees, and by the end of the year exceeded $1,000,000 in sales.
By 2018 Dixie Belle Paint Company had become known in the industry and was leading the way in offering a broad range of products in the home décor DIY industry and had 30 employees.
In January 2019 Dixie Belle moved into their current 36,000 sf facility.
Dixie Belle Paint Company has over 2500 retailers throughout the United States and offers products globally through online sales direct to consumer, as well as through international distributors.
Currently Dixie Belle employs 57 personnel, has three lines of paint, a multitude of DIY products exceeding 500 SKUs, and continues to look for opportunities to expand their product line.
