The Bay Area Manufacturers Association, FloridaMakes, and USF’s College of Engineering are connecting manufacturers with job-ready talent.

We’re bringing graduates from USF’s Introduction to Production Systems certificate program, a free training initiative equipping local residents with critical manufacturing skills—and the best part? Each graduate will also be assigned to an apprenticeship program at no cost in one of four key manufacturing occupations of your choice.

Who Are These Candidates?

Graduates are prepared for roles such as:

  • Assembler
  • Material Handler
  • Machine Operator
  • Manufacturing Technician

What’s Included?

These job-ready candidates have hands-on experience in:

  • Measurement Systems and Production Assembly
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Automation
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality Applications
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Manufacturing
  • Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing
  • Soft Skills and Workplace Readiness

A Registered Apprenticeship at No Cost

Each graduate will be placed in an apprenticeship program with your company at no cost, providing structured on-the-job training in one of these four apprenticeship tracks:

  • Production Technologist
  • Industrial Manufacturing Technician
  • Quality Control Technician
  • Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
