BlueSky Innovations Holdings, Inc. is looking for an experienced accountant.  We have been in business for 20 years and have seen substantial growth in the past few years.  The accounting department needs to keep pace with the rest of the organization which means implementing processes and controls that we can monitor while keeping up with the daily invoicing (vendor and customer).  This position is integral to setting up an accounting department capable of bringing us to the next level.  

We are looking for an individual who can join our team with positive energy and an eye for detail. You will become part of a small but growing accounting team that needs to implement and audit policies that match our growth/size and assure company assets are accounted for.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable - Work with other departments to help implement and assure processes are being followed.

Accounts Receivable - Work with sales to help assure invoicing, account holds, DnB's are reviewed and used accordingly.

General Accounting - Reconcile bank accounts, prepaids, and intercompany accounts.

Fixed Assets - Work with outside accountants to assure schedules and JE's are up to date.

Taxes - Process sales tax for multiple locations.

2024 we will be upgrading from our MRP system to an ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) and will need to perform testing throughout the system. This position will be integral to our growth plans as you will need to be able to interface throughout the organization.

Qualifications

5 years accounting experience.

Detail oriented - Accuracy over speed.

Ability to maintain professionalism in all circumstances.

Verbal, written, non-verbal communication expertise.
