The Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) Information Session

Join us for an informational meeting to learn about the The Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) apprenticeship-style training program. Information Session. The FAME model is an employer-led workforce development program that combines paid, hands-on work experience with structured classroom instruction. Students typically work part-time with a sponsoring employer while attending classes, gaining real-world experience in areas like advanced manufacturing, maintenance, and industrial technology. In addition to technical skills, the program emphasizes professional behaviors such as reliability, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—traits that are critical for long-term success on the shop floor.
