Work Comp study of options to help your business

Lunch n Learn
Friday, April 14
Location: Bascom's Chop House, Clearwater

If the Florida Legislature cannot agree on recent workers' comp rulings, premiums could increase more in 2018.

At this lunch n learn, you will find solutions to help rollback the 14.5 percent workers' comp premium increase. A forensic study of options from deductibles to dividends to experience mod. analysis.

About your speaker:

Kevin Campbell, CEO of Work Comp Specialists, has exclusively managed Workers' Comp programs of employers throughout Florida for 26 years. He has seen marketplace cycles fluctuate from 38 percent increases in rates downward to 60 percent lower rates.

He now predicts we are at the beginning of a three-year cycle of premiums increasing a collective 35 percent.

Now is the time to pivot and learn current tools to prevent some of this painful increase in costs.

His intelligence report will fully explain the use of deductibles, coinsurance, deferred dividends and insurance bidding methods. These options will prevent much of this 14.5 percent current rate increase.

An author of two books specializing in Workers' Comp, Campbell will explain his role on the Florida Chamber Work Comp Task Force heading into this legislative session.

This will be an interesting lunch and learn... not a sales event.
