Not a day goes by where we do not hear about another major cybersecurity event. Just as importantly, the bulk of these incidents go unreported due to potential loss of business, trust, or reputation. The threat landscape continues to evolve and grow meaning the number and magnitude of these instances will continue to flourish.
While the highest percentage of threats continue to be external, approximately one third of them start from within the organization. These threats typically fall into one of three categories. Those are negligence, malice, and complacency. The bulk of these threats are not malicious, but the awareness and knowledge are critical in protecting the organization from each of these.
The proper protection approach involves the right mix of people, processes, and technology. Each of these components is equally crucial to strengthen the security posture.
During this presentation, we will uncover the appropriate techniques to formulate the strategy to strengthen protection efforts.
