    General Summary: The Process Engineer will be primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the company's critical manufacturing processes, introducing industry best practices, studying and implementing process improvement that lead to higher quality, lower cost and increased production velocity, and carrying out R&D projects. In this job there will be strong collaboration with the Quality, Operations and Materials departments. The Process Engineer will be assigned to the Engineering department.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensure the activities of the production departments are carried out per policies, procedures, industry standards and/or federal/state regulations.
    • Meet quality and throughput objectives per company directives.
    • Propose cost reductions that meet or exceed company directives.
    • Develop and introduce new products, using new materials and/or processes, into full-scale manufacturing within budget.
    • Advise on process equipment requirements; oversee the installation, setup and startup of this equipment as necessary.
    • Support the entire factory floor as directed.
    • Determine and drive to complete any and all manufacturing changes that improve quality, cost and lead time.
    • Evaluate products from the general manufacturing perspective; perform DFM/A, tests and inspections, create BOMs, labor/time studies, etc.
    • Work with standard lab equipment and have strong mechanical aptitude to work with test fixtures and troubleshoot production test fixtures.

    COMPETENCIES:
    • Must have strong working knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing principles and statistical problem solving schemes (such as Six Sigma or Shainin RED X).
    • Demonstrates effective oral and written communications skills, especially in the ability to present concepts and articulate business value.
    • Must understand the essential components of material flow through a factory.
    • Must be able to write standard manufacturing documents, test procedures, process instructions, packaging instructions, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • BA/BS degree (prefer EE, ME, Chem Eng, Mfg Eng, IE) with strong mechanical and chemical aptitudes.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience.
    • Experience/knowledge of PCBs and board manufacturing a plus.

    General Summary: The Customer Service Manager is responsible for managing the Customer Service Representative team. Primary duties are to plan, develop and lead inside/outside sales growth, targeting and identifying key new customers, and overseeing the servicing of existing clients.     MAINTENANCE/EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
    St. Petersburg

    General Summary: The Maintenance/Equipment Technician under general direction, is responsible for general maintenance and repair duties, performs increasingly complex maintenance and technical work repairing building systems, electrical systems, small and large machines, equipment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems
      • Assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance
      • Resolving safety concerns
      • Monitoring inventory supplies
      • Maintaining maintenance records
      • Perform the replacement of minor electrical devices

    Gulf Fiberoptics, an established, fast-paced, growing medical manufacturing company is seeking to fill Long Term/Full-Time production assemblers for one of its product lines.

    THE CANDIDATE:
    • Must have good near vision
    • Must be able to manipulate small parts with your hands and fingers
    • Should be capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time
    • Must be capable of remaining focused on task while working
    • Is expected to maintain a good attendance and punctuality record
    • Must be dependable and able to work well in a team environment
    • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
    • Must read, write, and speak English
    • Prior experience working as an Assembler is a plus
    • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus

    Essential Functions:
    • Perform assembly functions required for tasks assigned following approved processes and training
    • Rotate among various assembly processes as assigned
    • Meet or exceed established quality and production standards
    • Record and “Sign Off” on Travelers as tasks are performed following approved process(es)
    • Lift materials of up to 40 lbs as may be needed
    • Work overtime as required

    THE POSITION
    • Monday - Friday - workday would be one of the following depending upon position:
              7:30am-4:00pm; 8:00am-4:30pm;  8:30am-5:00pm
    • Comfortable, air-conditioned working environment
    • Training is provided
    • Rate of pay: $10.00 per hour D.O.E.
