    Summary: Mettler Toledo Safeline is seeking Field Service Engineers to provide World Class technical onsite support, installation, set up, and repair for our X-ray and metal detector product lines. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of field service support including; communications between customers and service department, detailed preparation of written reports and documentation, maintenance of job assignments, itinerary and schedule requirements.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
    • Execute scheduled service visits received from the Tampa office
    • Update customer information as required
    • Complete Customer Service Reports, time sheets, and expense reports
    • Identify root cause of service issues-first time fix
    • Maintain good customer relations
    • 75-80% overnight travel

    Head of Quality
    Summary:
    The Head of Quality is responsible for leading, coordinating, and championing Quality Assurance and Process Improvement efforts at Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection in Tampa Florida. This position requires an experienced Quality leader that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and “ever changing” environment. They must leverage their strong interpersonal skills to bring together a small team of internal Quality professionals as well as employees of different disciplines to achieve overall quality objectives. Further the successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for ensuring that each area is taking the necessary preventive action required to deliver defect-free work, on time to all of all customers whether internal or external; with the ultimate goal of satisfying every customer every time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Is responsible for Quality Assurance and Process Improvement programs for all products and services originating from the Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection Tampa Florida operations including Mettler Toledo Safeline and Eagle Product Inspection brands.
    • Working with the local Site Management and Brand Teams develops Quality Assurance and Process Improvement objectives ensuring that targets are measured and met.
    • Takes ownership, leads, and manages a program for the initial successful ISO-9000 certification of the local site operations including creation and maintenance of the ongoing Quality Management System required to maintain the certification over time. Be the primary liaison with the ISO-9000 accreditation agency ensuring that all records are kept, maintained, and properly stored in their appropriate areas.
    • Establishes and maintains the "Quality Dashboard" tracking pertinent product and process performance measurements against established targets and delivers periodic program presentations to key stakeholders within local Site Management and Brand Teams.
    • Leads the Quality Team in managing and conducting the final quality and safety inspections of all products from each brand which is manufactured within the operations, ensuring that each undergo the applicable radiation safety tests and have appropriate electrical/mechanical risk assessments in accordance with applicable standards prior to shipment.
    • Effectively integrates Quality and Lean techniques and tools across all departments, in all brands, and in conjunction with other Mettler Toledo facilities, creating and maintaining efficient, effective, and dependable set of Quality processes which focuses on the elimination of failures, rework, and costs in all areas while improving customer satisfaction and financial performance.
    • Ensures that departments are using structured problem solving methods to resolve issues, examples of the tools include:5 Why Analysis, Fishbone diagrams, 6 Sigma techniques, SPC techniques, 8D, A3 and COPQ techniques and others.
      Provide leadership / mentoring / training to all levels of the organization on the use of Quality improvement tools
    • Develop a culture that strongly values excellence in customer service and quality, and rewards and recognizes achievements in these areas
    • Ability to analyze performs root cause analysis, and implements change to continuously improve the quality of products and processes.
    • Assure that effective SOPs, work instructions, work processes, tools and systems are developed, documented, and maintained in order to meet quality objectives.
    • Maintain and improve calibration program, nonconforming process, customer returns, internal audits
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned

    The CNC Programmer/Operator is responsible to produce required parts by programming, setting up, and operating a Fadal VMC 4020 CNC machining center; Programming part files using BobCam CNC software, maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

    Products working with include: compession molding, stamping dies, etc. The position will also assist with project work.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    One to three years experience is ideal.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Sets up and operates a variety of CNC and/or manual machines where set-up is well defined with limited supervision.

    • Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
    • Read blueprints, drawings, CNC programs and engineering instructions to ensure conformance to specifications of precision parts.

    Work Experience Requirements:
    Minimum of two years experience in operating CNC production equipment.

    Knowledge Requirements:

    Given routine set-ups and adjustments using simple offsets with only limited supervision, qualified candidates must have demonstrated competency in the set-up and operation of 2 or more of the following machine categories:
    1) 3-axis CNC mills,
    2) 2-axis CNC lathes,
    3) manual lathe/mill/grinder with simple set-up and parts,
    4) electrical discharge machines (wire or sinker),
    5) CNC Grinders (5-axis, other),
    6) electro-chemical grinders (CNC or manual),
    7) crush form grinders, and/or
    8) operate CNC mill turns including minor adjustments set-up by another. Adjust tool wear offsets, adjust work (fixture) offsets and safely perform mid-program starts Posses a basic understanding of the mechanical steps required to install and align the designated tools and hardware for metal cutting/fabricating operations.
    Posses the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, read and interpret blueprints, apply shop math and basic metrology tools and have the ability to learn the more advanced metrology skills.

    Physical:
    Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops, uses hands and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted. Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors. Must be able to perform work at a bench height of 37.5" to 42".

    Combination Manual / CNC Machinist needed for Farming Equipment Manufacturer

    Preference for this position will be given to those applicants who have experience operating various types of manual lathes, mills, and drills in addition to the CNC requirements below.

    CNC Experience
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Minimum 1 – 2 years Programming, Setup and Operating CNC Lathes, AND Vertical milling machines.
    • MUST have previous CNC experience programming, setup, and operation of Okuma Milling Machining and Mazak Lathes.
